Acknowledging Insights

Acknowledge insights you've reviewed and dismiss the ones that aren't relevant, so your AI Insights list stays focused on what's new.

Once you've read an insight and decided what to do about it, you can acknowledge it (mark it as handled) or dismiss it (remove it). Both keep your list focused on what's still new.

Where to find your insights

You can review insights in two places:

  • Per-website: open a website's dashboard from Domains, then select the Insights tab (/domains/{your-site}?tab=insights). This shows every insight for that one site.
  • Across all sites: open Insights in the sidebar (/insights) for a team-wide rollup, grouped by website, with the most critical alerts surfaced first. Clicking through takes you to the relevant website's Insights tab.

AI Insights is available on the Pro plan and above. Insights are shared across your team, so everyone on the workspace sees the same list and the same acknowledged state.

Insight states

StateMeaning
ActiveNew, not yet handled. Shown by default.
AcknowledgedReviewed and marked as handled. Hidden from the default view.

An acknowledged insight isn't deleted, it's just hidden until you choose to show it again (see below). A dismissed insight is removed.

Acknowledging an insight

Acknowledging clears an insight from your default list and records when you handled it. It's the right action when you've seen the insight, understood it, and either acted on it or decided no action is needed.

From the list:

  1. Open the Insights tab

Go to your website's dashboard and select the Insights tab.

  2. Acknowledge the insight

Hover over an insight card and click the check icon, or open the insight and click Acknowledge in the detail view.

The insight is marked with the date you acknowledged it and drops out of the default view.

Info

Acknowledging requires editor access on the website. If you have a viewer role, the acknowledge and dismiss actions appear disabled with a tooltip.

Dismissing an insight

Dismiss an insight when it isn't useful, for example an expected change, a one-off event, or something you've already dealt with elsewhere. Dismissing removes the insight.

  1. Open the insight

Click the insight to open its detail view, or hover over the card in the list.

  2. Dismiss it

Click Dismiss (the X icon on the card, or the Dismiss button in the detail view).

Warning

Dismissing is permanent. The insight is removed rather than archived, so dismiss only what you're sure you don't need. If an insight might be worth revisiting, acknowledge it instead, acknowledged insights can be shown again.

Filtering and finding insights

The Insights tab has a toolbar to help you focus on the right insights:

  • Search by keyword, metric name, title, or description.
  • Type filter: anomalies, trends, recommendations, or predictions.
  • Severity filter: critical, warning, or info.
  • Show acknowledged toggle: by default, acknowledged insights are hidden. Turn this on to bring them back into view (they appear dimmed, with the date you acknowledged them).

The list refreshes automatically in the background, so you don't need to reload to see new insights.

Reviewing the detail view

Click any insight to open its detail view, which shows:

  • The full description and, where available, an AI recommendation.
  • The current value, the expected value, and the deviation between them.
  • A chart of the metric's recent history.
  • A Copy button to copy the insight's details to your clipboard for sharing in a ticket or message.

From the detail view you can acknowledge or dismiss the insight directly.

A simple routine

A quick daily pass keeps the list manageable:

  1. Open the Insights tab (or Insights in the sidebar for all sites).
  2. Scan for critical and warning insights first.
  3. Acknowledge anything you've reviewed or acted on.
  4. Dismiss the ones that aren't relevant.

Troubleshooting

Too many insights

If the list feels noisy:

  • Use the Severity filter to focus on critical insights only.
  • Acknowledge handled items so they leave the default view.
  • Dismiss recurring non-issues.

For how often insights are generated, see Insight frequency.

Not seeing insights you expected

  • Make sure you're on the Pro plan or above, AI Insights is a Pro feature.
  • Check the Show acknowledged toggle in case the insight was already acknowledged.
  • Clear any active Type or Severity filters.
  • New websites need a few days of data before insights are generated.
