Zenovay AI insights surface significant patterns in your data — traffic that's above or below your recent trend, engagement shifts, geographic concentration, high-value visitor segments, and anomalies. Insights aren't generated on every page load; they run on a fixed daily schedule so you only see meaningful changes.
AI insights are a Pro plan and higher feature. Free workspaces don't generate insights.
The schedule
Insight generation and anomaly detection both run once per day, at 00:00 UTC, as part of Zenovay's daily analytics job. After the day's analytics have been aggregated, the model reviews each Pro+ website and writes any new insight cards to your feed.
Each daily run looks at roughly the last 7 days of activity and compares it against a weighted average of the previous four weeks, so an insight reflects how the current week is tracking against your recent baseline.
The weekly digest email is a separate job that goes out Mondays at 08:00 UTC if you've enabled it.
What "new insight" actually means
On each daily run, the model generates a handful of insights (typically three to six) from your current period versus your recent baseline. Anomaly detection runs in the same job: a daily metric that lands more than two standard deviations away from its 30-day baseline (for visitors, bounce rate, or visitor value score) is flagged as an anomaly. Anomaly detection needs at least three days of historical data before it can run.
If a metric is steady and unremarkable, you won't get a new card for it.
Where to find your insights
Open your website's dashboard and select the Insights tab. New cards appear there after each daily run. The tab also has an Explore sub-tab — a guided walkthrough that lets you step through your analytics by topic (acquisition, retention, revenue, performance).
Why I don't see any insights yet
If your site is brand new or has very little traffic, the model doesn't have enough to work with and the feed shows "No insights yet — AI insights will appear here as we analyze your analytics data." Insights start showing up once you've accumulated a few days of analytics data. Anomaly detection specifically needs at least three days of baseline data.
Acting on an insight
Each card has two quick actions in its top corner:
- Acknowledge (the check icon) — marks the insight as reviewed. It stays in your feed but is greyed out; it does not delete it.
- Dismiss (the X icon) — removes the card from your feed.
Click anywhere else on a card to open the detail view, which shows the recommendation, the current-versus-expected comparison, a history chart for the metric, and a button to copy the details.
